Olivia Jesse comes to the team as administrative support and former handler of K9 Helo.
She first started on the team in 2013, as a founding member. She adopted K9 Helo in 2014, trained with him and served as his handler for 10 years until he retired. She was interested in SAR by her love her helping the community, as well as her passion as a first responder. Olivia worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a while, then as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) full-time for 5 years, as well as being a volunteer firefighter. She also went on to get her phlebotomy certificate. Currently, she works as a tech in one of the local emergency rooms, while she attends school for her Bachelors in nursing. When not doing school work, you can find Olivia in the sun planting in her garden or hanging out by a bonfire. She also enjoys crafting, reading a good book, or traveling! She holds certificates in:

Jason Schweickert comes to the team as the handler for K9 Nikita and K9 Hannah.
Former handler of K9 Harley. He joined the team in 2013, as a founding member. Jason brings a long history as a first responder, with 15 years as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and 7 years as a firefighter. He has also served as the Fire Lieutenant and Captain for local fire departments. In his free time, you can find Jason in the garage working on a project. Being tech-savvy, Jason is always our go-to for all our IT needs! He also enjoys to play video games. He holds certificates in:

Joann Schweickert comes to the team as the handler of K9 Britta.
Former handler of K9 Spirit. She joined the team in 2013, as a founding member. Joann joined as a way to share her desire to help people. Being a handler is not all she has done on the team, she was the treasurer at one point as well. Now, she is the human resource trustee as well as the instructor for the Cadet Program! In her free time, you can find Joann in her garden planting vegetables, herbs, and flowers. She also likes to go fishing, take walks with her dog, or spend time with her family! Jack Stetter comes to the team as the handler of K9 Tonka.
He joined the team in 2019. With a love for dogs, he started as a support handler. After learning the ropes, he adopted K9 Tonka and became his handler, a perfect match! Jack also is assistant Pilot for the U.A.V Drone. He underwent training and obtained a pilot's certification. In his spare time, Jack enjoys taking his dog on bike rides, to the dog park, and hiking! Marcus comes to the team as the U.A.V Pilot.
Joining the team in 2020, he brings great knowledge in technology, making him the perfect Drone Pilot. Marcus has been flying a DJI Inspire 1 Drone and a Mavic Drone since 2019. in 2021, he underwent training and obtained his pilots license for the U.A.V. Drone. He also brings a history as a firefighter to the team. When he's not flying a drone, you'll find Marcus in his chicken coop, planting in his garden, or working on a project car. Kaitlyn Anthony comes to the team as the Secretary and Support handler.
She joined in 2021. Having extensive knowledge in graphic design, Kaitlyn helps the team with a variety of projects. She's eager to learn the skills of a handler and work with the K9s. If not working on her computer, she's spending time with her pet rabbit! She also likes to hang with her friends and enjoys spending time outside in the sun. She holds certificates in:

Jaime comes to the team as a handler of K9 Zena.
He joined the team in 2022, eager to train his dog with new skills. Jaime is a people person, making him a great fit for the team. When not working with his K9, he is usually found crafting various things out of wood, from planters to benches. He also has a knack for being in the kitchen, whether its making bread or canning different vegetables. He holds certificates in:

Kevin comes to the team as ground search support.
Joining the team in 2020, he brings knowledge in search and rescue from past experiences and training. Kevin has a past in Military Reconnaissance. He spends his spare time working on cars or tinkering with other projects. He also spends time in his garden and making different things with the vegetables he harvests. He holds certificates in:

Steven joins us as a K9 handler for Drago 4 1/2-year-old Czech Working line GSD certified in Human Remains Detection.
He started training working dogs in 2006 with some of the best trainers in the country, and have taken multiple classes in animal behavior specifically for K9's. He has worked with Police, Military, Private Security, Private Contractors, and Personal Protection K9's. He is a certified obedience instructor for AKC CGC as well as pet dog, agility and service dog training. K9 Drago is socially stable, confident, with extremely high drive that excels in detection work. Steven serves as the team's Training Officer. He holds certificates in:

Declan
Joined our team in 2023. Learning to become a K9 handler is what peaked his interest in the team. In his future, Declan plans to grow up and become a billionaire.... we are all rooting for him! He currently attends LP High School. When not in school, he enjoys riding dirt bikes and fishing. Declan also has a growing passion for welding. He holds certificates in:

Teegan
Joined our team in 2022 as a volunteer, then joined the cadet program in 2023. Teegan was enthusiastic about joining due to his love for working and playing with animals. He has grown a love for being a target during trainings and now is looking forward to learning to handle the K9s. His future career goals of being a K9 officer further aids in his drive for learning the skills. When not involved with the team, Teegan loves to spend time outside playing basketball and baseball for local teams. He also plays percussion in the school band. Hanging out with his friends or playing video games are favourites of his as well. When needing quiet time, you can find Teegan with a pole in the water catching some fish! He holds certificates in:

Lain
Joined our Cadet program in the Spring of 2024. He was attracted to the K9's as one of his future career choices included being a K9 Handler for the military. Lain is no stranger to animals. He helps his family tend to 50+ chickens and ducks and he has 3 pigs of his own that he shows at local fairs and also has helped farrow pigs and raise them up to show. In his spare time, he is learning the art of Karate and is currently working on his Green belt. Lain also enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys being outdoors fishing, camping and rollerblading. He also just started a new hobby of photography When there is a little down time, he loves a good book. He holds certificates in:

Shaylynn
Joined our cadet program in the Spring of 2025. She was brought to the program by her admiration of all fire and emergency rescue personal. Shaylynn has a future career goal as a firefighter, but is also interested in law enforcement. During her down time, Shaylynn likes to play sports, one being playing basketball with her brother. She also likes to spend time in the kitchen cooking. Shaylynn takes pride in showing good leadership skills to others. One thing she is looking forward to doing as a cadet is working with the k9s! |
Raudel
Joined our cadet program in Spring of 2025. He was interested in joining due to his desire to help people and learn to work with the K9s. In his free time, you might find Raudel by the water fishing! He also enjoys being outside playing sports. If he's not outside, he likes to play video games as well. |
Christopher
Joined our cadet program in Spring of 2025. Being intrigued by what search and rescue entailed, he decided to join! Christopher is a social guy! He likes to spend time with his family, siblings, and of course his dogs! Keeping up with him might be hard, as he runs on his school's track team. The thing Christopher is looking forward to learning is the skills and traits it takes to be in search and rescue! |
Jevyen
Joined our cadet program in the Spring of 2025. He decided to join to simply try and learn something new. During his free time, Jevyen likes to hit the gym, focusing on a good workout or playing sports. When he's not lifting weights, he spends time listening to and making music.. how cool! |
